UTICA — Author Kathleen “Chip” Twellman Haley will discuss and sign copies of her newest book, “Rome Through Our History, Volume II,” at 1 p.m. Nov. 16 at the Oneida County History Center, 1608 Genesee St.
Haley will talk about the people and places in Rome, plus share stories from the surrounding towns. The pilot who landed the first B-52 bomber at Griffiss Air Force Base, the Underground Railroad, and the old Oneida County Home in Rome are among the stories that will be told.
