ROME  — Keaton & Lloyd Bookshop, 236 W. Dominick St., will host local author Dee Dee Edwards for a book signing event from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4.

Edwards is a Vietnam-era veteran, songwriter and, now, accomplished author. Published by Fulton Books, Edwards’ series of mystery novels currently has two volumes: “Murder on the Bay” and “The Cryptic Case.”

According to Newswire, “Murder on the Bay” is “a chilling fiction (...) where people from all sides of the law are pulled in to uncover the culprit” behind a series of crimes. Filled with unique twists and motives, Private Detective Martin Payne must uncover the truth before another tragedy occurs. In the sequel, Private Detective Martin Payne returns to solve a mystery involving a series of riddles which have even baffled Sheriff Downing and the state police.
