Book follows family’s life on Tug Hill

Local author James P. Burke’s book “A Lifetime on the Hill” was recently released.

“Burke has lived his entire life on Tug Hill. The stories in this collection span more than a century, from his father’s arrival on an orphan train in the late 1800s to his life today as a musician, father, husband, friend, and neighbor.”

Copies of the book are currently available for $20 from Burke by calling 315-337-4239. Burke also plans to donate a copy to Jervis Public Library.
