VERONA — The Mid-State Teacher Resource Center has announced the meeting dates of its policy board for the 2020-21 school year, including one on Oct. 21.
The meetings, all from 4-5 p.m., also will be on Dec. 2, Jan. 20, Feb. 23, April 27, and May 26. They will take place by Zoom video conference and are open to the public, according to an announcement.
For the Zoom link, which can be accessed by a computer or smart phone, contact email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org by email. The resource center office is located within the Staff and Curriculum Development (SCD) section of Madison-Oneida (MO) BOCES in Verona.
The center collaborates with SCD and Utica College in providing professional learning opportunities and resources to pre-service and in-service teachers, administrators, and paraprofessionals who work with school children. These individuals work in one or more of the eight component public school districts, BOCES, and/or non-public schools within the Mid-State consortium.
Component districts and schools include Camden, Canastota, Hamilton, Madison, Morrisville-Eaton, Oneida, Stockbridge Valley, Vernon-Verona-Sherrill, MO BOCES, Rome Catholic School, Holy Cross Academy, St. Patrick’s Elementary School, New Life Christian School, New York State School for the Deaf.
