Bilodeau captures opening event of 2022 NYSGA Amateur Series

VERONA — A field of 96 golfers competed May 5 at Turning Stone Resort’s Kaluhyat Golf Club in the opening event of the 2022 NYSGA Amateur Series season. Roman E.J. Bilodeau of Crestwood Golf Club was the men’s division under-10 handicap gross winner.

The net winner in Bilodeau’s division was Ryan Miller of the NYSGA eClub Capital District.

The net and gross winners of the men’s division 10-plus handicap were David Hoovler of the MGA eClub Hudson Valley and Randy Redner of Woodgate Pines Golf Club, respectively.

The net and gross winners of the men’s senior division under-11 handicap were Kevin Webb of Clifton Springs Country Club and John Miosi of Seneca Hickory Stick, respectively.

The net and gross winners of the men’s senior division 11-plus handicap were David Kiel of NYSGA eClub Central NY and Ron Emerson of Crag Burn Golf Club, respectively.

The net and gross winners of the men’s super senior division under-13 handicap were Gary Spears of the MGA eClub Hudson Valley and Jim Tormey of Wayne Hills Country Club, respectively.

The net and gross winners of the men’s super senior division 13-plus handicap were Philip Hausman of Town of Colonie Golf Club and Dave Barcomb of Western Turnpike Golf Club, respectively.

The net and gross winners of the women’s division were Julie Hamm of Sodus Bay Heights Golf Club and Wendy Martin of Willowbrook Golf Course, respectively.
