Uzziah Grimes scored 27 points to help the Rome Free Academy boys basketball team to a definitive 93-48 win against host Notre Dame Monday in the Tri-Valley League.

The Black Knights led 29-14 after a quarter and 45-25 at the half. RFA ended the night with nine three-pointers as well.

Deandre Neal scored 18 for RFA and Surafia Norries had 13.

Notre Dame’s Christian Babiarz had a team-high 25 points.

RFA (8-10) visits Whitesboro at 7 tonight in the league.

Notre Dame (4-11) played a league game at Camden Tuesday. Results were not available at press time.

Neff scores career high in Waterville win

Adrienne Neff’s career-high 21 points helped the Waterville girls basketball team to a 56-38 win at Sauquoit Valley Monday in a Center State Conference Division II contest.

Neff’s points were all from beyond the arc, as she knocked down seven three-pointers. That tied a school record for threes in a game, held by Sophie Wittenbeck.

Natalee Collins added 15 point and 19 rebounds for Waterville.

Season three-point leader Alaina Weaver led all scorers with 23 for Sauquoit Valley.

Waterville (9-9) hosts Mount Markham at 7 p.m. Thursday in the league.

Sauquoit (0-19) hosts Sherburne-Earlville at 7 p.m. Thursday in the league.

CVA wins behind Lynch’s threes

Central Valley Academy’s Payton Lynch scored 18 points, all on three-pointers, in the team’s 54-40 home win against Camden in the TVL Monday.

Isabella Terzioski added 16 points for the Thunder and Avery Rich scored 11.

Camryn Shenk led Camden with 15 points.

CVA (8-9) hosted Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Tuesday in the league. Results were not available at press time.

Camden (5-11) hosts VVS in the league at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Early deficit dooms Dolgeville

Hamilton led 20-9 after a quarter in girls basketball at Dolgeville Monday, en route to a 74-43 Center State win.

Chloe LaFrance had 20 points in the win, with 13 points from Logan Langel and 11 from Reagan Hope.

Dolgeville’s Kerisa Van Olst had 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for a double-double.

Hamilton (12-5) hosts Poland at 7 p.m. on Thursday in the league.

Dolgeville (11-6) hosts Canastota at 7 p.m. on Thursday in the league.
