Barbara J. (Conn) Dayhuff

FLOYD — Barbara J. Dayhuff, 74, of Floyd, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, January 16, 2022, surrounded by the love of her family.

She was born on August 9, 1947, in Salem, Ohio a daughter of the late Ralph and Hazel (Griffiths) Conn. On July 25, 1969 in Saginaw, Michigan she was united in marriage to Michael P. Dayhuff a blessed union of over 44 years. Mr. Dayhuff passed away on January 17, 2014.

Barbara was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She dedicated her life to raising and caring for her children, for Barbara it was a true labor of love. She cherished the time that she spent with her family especially her adored children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Michael Dayhuff of Floyd, Wendy Dayhuff of New Hartford, and Tim Dayhuff and his wife Jennifer of Floyd. She leaves her four grandchildren, Nicholas Cassidy and his companion Emily Lewicki, Emily Cassidy, Timmy Dayhuff, and Shelby Dayhuff, She leaves her sisters, Sandra and Terry Siebert of MD, and Pat Beeson of Salem, OH. She also leaves a special niece, Kendra Ferry, of Fl.

The family wishes to sincerely thank Hospice & Palliative Care and her very special friends Judy Lewicki and Brian and Roxanne Thomas for the wonderful care and compassion and the many acts of kindness shown to Barbara over the years.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at 2 p.m. at the Dimbleby Funeral Homes Inc., 7944 Steuben St. in Holland Patent with Pastor Cindy Makarchuk officiating. There are no public calling hours
