The Madison County Sheriff’s Office announced the following recent arrests:

• Peter J. Palamara, 25, of Canastota, was charged in Oneida on Jan. 4 with second-degree assault.

• Anissa A. Mowers, 30, of Oneida, was charged in Wampsville on Jan. 4 with fourth-degree welfare fraud, fourth-degree grand larceny and first-degree offering a false instrument for filing.

• Matthew C. Chapin, 46, of Munnsville, was charged in Wampsville on Thursday, Jan. 5, with fourth-degree possession of stolen property, according to the report by the sheriff’s office.
