The Madison County Sheriff’s Office announced recent arrests:

• Edward L. Fields, 47, no address available, was charged in DeRuyter on Jan. 12 with third-degree assault and criminal obstruction of breathing.

• John B. O’Herien, 48, of Canastota, was charged in Canastota on Jan. 11 with fourth-degree grand larceny.

• Jennifer L. Brown, 41, of Cuyler, Cortland County, was charged in DeRuyter on Jan. 11 with one count each of driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or greater and multiple vehicle and traffic violations.

• Donald R. Badgley, 47, of Munnsville, was charged in Nelson on Jan. 11 with one count each of driving while ability impaired, reckless driving, third and fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and three counts of seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance.

• Cindy E. Hart, 64, of Brewerton, Onondaga County, was charged in Sullivan on Jan. 14 with one count each of driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or greater and speeding.

• Khai M. Pugh, 21, of McGraw, Cortland County, was charged in Wampsville on Jan. 12 with fourth-degree grand larceny and third-degree possession of a forged instrument.
