Assault and harassment among charges, Oneida police report
ONEIDA — The Oneida Police Department announced the following recent arrests:
• George M. Chismar, 63, of Oneida, was issued appearance tickets on Nov. 1 for second-degree assault, criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree menacing and third-degree tampering.
• Brian J. Stevens, 34, of Oneida, was picked up on a bench warrant on Nov. 1 for fourth-degree mischief and second-degree harassment.
• Jamya B. Garceau, 21, of Syracuse, was picked up on an arrest warrant on Oct. 31 for petty larceny.
• John D. Cavallo III, 38, of Canastota, was charged on Oct. 30 with fifth-degree possession of stolen property, second-degree possession of a forged instrument, circumventing an ignition interlock device, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and improper plates.
• Stephanie K. Karuzas, 39, of Oriskany Falls, was issued appearance tickets on Oct. 30 for fourth-degree possession of stolen property, unlicensed operator, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and circumventing an ignition interlock device.
• Angela Beecher, 19, of Oneida, was issued a criminal summons on Oct. 30 for petty larceny.
• Christopher Baltazar, 21, of Oneida, was issued a criminal summons on Oct. 30 for petty larceny.
• Erika P. Eklund, 31, of Oneida, was arrested for criminal trespass second-degree, criminal mischief fourth-degree and endangering the welfare of a child. She was transported to Madison County jail for centralized arraignment.
• Harold S. Chesebro III, 49, of Oneida, was charged on Oct. 28 with one count each of third, fourth, fifth and seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance.
• Phillip T. Kane, 28, of Madison, was picked up on an arrest warrant on Oct. 28 for endangering the welfare of a child.
• Christopher J. Garrow, 23, of Canastota, was picked up on an arrest warrant on Oct. 27 for third-degree assault.
