Assault and burglary among arrests in Oneida

ONEIDA — The Oneida Police Department announced the following recent arrests:

• Timothy A. Douglas Jr., 30, of Canastota, was charged on Sept. 20 for third-degree assault, criminal obstruction of breathing and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

• Vincent M. Harris, 26, of Rome, was picked up on two separate arrest warrants on Sept. 20, for fourth-degree mischief and second-degree aggravated harassment.

• Peter A. Nichols Jr., 31, of Wampsville, was picked up on an arrest warrant on Sept. 19 for seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance.

• Lewis E. Joslyn, 40, of Oneida, was picked up on an arrest warrant on Sept. 19 for third-degree burglary and petty larceny.

• Mark W. Buss, 52, of Oneida, was charged on Sept. 19 with two counts of first-degree contempt and one count each of third-degree mischief and second-degree harassment.

• Noah C. Hopkins, 41, of Oneida, was issued an appearance ticket on Sept. 18 for petty larceny.

• James E. Nystrom, 44, of Oneida, was charged on Sept. 17 with three counts of second-degree menacing, two counts of third-degree possession of a weapon and third-degree tampering.

• James R. Bardo, 33, of Syracuse, was picked up on an arrest warrant on Sept. 17 for endangering the welfare of a child.

• Megan L. Raynore, 28, of Liverpool, was picked up on an arrest warrant on Sept. 15 for providing a false written statement.

• Jesse E. Joslyn, 42, of Oneida, was charged on Sept. 15 with third-degree mischief, aggravated family offense and disorderly conduct.
