BARNEVELD — Those with treasures at home that they have been hanging onto for years can find out if they are valuable at Unity Hall’s Antique Appraisal event at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 22.
After a brief talk, John Secor, owner of Back of the Barn Antiques in Remsen, will be doing appraisals for attendees. The event will be held at Unity Hall, 101 Vanderkemp Ave.
There is no charge for admission nor a fee for the appraisals. However, Secor asks that attendees limit the number of antiques to be appraised to three items per person.
This community event is sponsored by the Unity Hall Foundation, a not-for-profit organization founded in 1995 to maintain the 1896 Hall as a center for the arts and community activities in Barneveld. Information about this and other Unity Hall events is available online at www.unityhall.com, and Facebook/HistoricUnityHall.
