Annual carol-sing-along event Sunday in Utica

UTICA — First Presbyterian Church, 1605 Genesee St., presents its 27th Annual Christmas Carol Sing-Along on Sunday, Dec. 23, at 7 p.m., under the leadership of Stephen Best, Minister of music at the church.

“One of the things that makes this sing-along different is that those attending are requested to bring bells — sleigh bells, dinner bells, silver bells, large bells, small bells — anything that rings,” organizers said. The bells will be used in several carols to help “ring in” the spirit of the season, with the singing of “Jingle Bells” sure to be a highlight of the evening.

“Whether you sing like a frog or sing like an angel, you can sing boldly at this Christmas event.” Children are welcome, and the church is also handicapped accessible off the rear parking lot. There is no charge.
