AmeriCU investment to help fund gift shop at Children’s Museum
UTICA — AmeriCU recently presented a $150,000 check to Steven Bulger, ICAN CEO an executive director, to support the nonprofit’s commitment to keeping families together through the construction of the agency’s new Family Resource Center.
The AmeriCU donation will specifically help fund a new gift shop for the Children’s Museum which will be located in ICAN’s Family Resource Center.
“AmeriCU’s generous donation shows its commitment to families in the Mohawk Valley,” said Bulger recently.
“The gift shop is an important area located in the glass rotunda, which is being constructed right now. It will be a place where kids and families can get a memento to take home to remember the great time they had together at the museum,” Bulger added. “We are very grateful for AmeriCU’s support of this exciting area.”
ICAN assists individuals and families through a community focused approach.
“At AmeriCU, we value the importance of investing in the future of our community,” said Ron Belle, AmeriCU president and CEO. “We are honored to help create a space for children and their families to learn and grow while having fun and spending real quality time together.”
