ROME — The American Heroes Golf Tournament and Classic Car Show will take place Monday, June 6, at Teugega Country Club, 6801 Golf Course Road, Rome.

Golf, a four-person scramble, will tee off at noon, with registration beginning at 10:30 a.m. The cost is $600 per team or $150 per golfer. Proceeds from the golf tournament will benefit the Sitrin Military Program.

The Fairway Classic Car Show will take place from 4 to 8:30 p.m. at the driving range (across from the clubhouse). Come and admire this collection of meticulously kept and restored automobiles. Vote for the People’s Choice winner. To enter the car show, bring a non-perishable food item or a monetary donation to benefit area pantries that feed local veterans.

Hamburgers, hotdogs and soft drinks will be available to purchase. There also will be a 50/50 raffle.

Enjoy the classic rock sounds of Billy Carmen, Scott Fleming and Dave Pallas of BADDOGG, and Ken Race, Scott Fleming, Mike Street, Sam Saponaro and Eddie Martin of Downshift. Bring a lawn chair.
