African American History Month program at RFA

The Afro-American Heritage Association will hold its 39th Annual African American History Month program on Sunday, Feb. 12, at 3 p.m. at Rome Free Academy, 95 Dart Circle.

The event is free. The national Black History Month theme is “The Crisis in Black Education.”

Kal Alston, professor at Syracuse University and senior vice president for Human Capital Development, will be the guest speaker.

Presentations will be given by members of the Solid Rock Church, Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, and the RFA Black History Club.
