ADVISORY: In Utica, officials announce Albany Street closure for emergency repairs

Posted

UTICA — The City of Utica will be making emergency infrastructure repairs along Albany Hill that will require the closure of Albany Street from Pond Lane to Christensen Street from May 3 through May 7, according to a release.

Travelers will be asked to take alternate routes during this time period. The emergency storm water repairs were not anticipated, but are necessary ahead of the road being paved, which is scheduled to start May 8, the city notes.

“The city is excited about the paving project and thanks the public for its patience during the closure,” a release states.
