Adirondack has one all-star starter for PGCBL

The Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League has announced the rosters for the 2019 All-Star Game, set for Tuesday, July 16 at Cantine Field, home of the Saugerties Stallions. The Adirondack Trail Blazers will send five players.

The All-Star Game will be divided between the East Division (Albany, Amsterdam, Glens Falls, Mohawk Valley, Oneonta, and Saugerties) and the West Division (Adirondack, Elmira, Geneva, Newark, Utica, Watertown).

All-stars are nominated and selected by coaches.

Adirondack has one starter, outfielder Kevin Ferrer (UConn).

The starters from the Utica Blue Sox are catcher Matt Parkinson (College of Charleston), second baseman Luis DeLeon (Central Alabama CC) and shortstop Tyler Simon (Kennesaw State).

Reserves from Adirondack are catcher Connor Hamilton (West Virginia), outfielder Chris Rotondo (Villanova) and pitchers Kevin McNiff (New Haven) and Ryan Solimine (Mitchell).

Reserves from Utica are infielder Robbie Young (Appalachian State) and pitchers Andrew Braun (Central Connecticut State), Michael McCully (Siena) and Ray Pacella (Rockland CC).
