Adirondack Bank offers program for workers impacted by shutdown

Adirondack Bank has announced the new Federal Employee Government Shutdown Assistance Program available to Federal Government and contract employees currently impacted by the shutdown.

This program will include loan payment deferment on current Adirondack Bank consumer, home equity, and mortgage loans for up to six months.

Adirondack Bank will also offer New Loan Assistance featuring a 90-day deferral of the first payment with a fixed rate as low as Prime which is currently at 5.50 percent Annual Percentage Rate for short-term financial assistance.

Certain qualifications are required for this program, the bank announcement added.
