Activities set to abound at Hibernation Festival at Great Swamp
CANASTOTA — The Great Swamp Conservancy will have its annual Winter Hibernation Festival on Saturday, Feb. 18, from 11 to 3 p.m.
Enjoy a variety of winter-themed activities, games, and crafts. Snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and sledding — weather depending.
The Great Swamp Conservancy will have a bonfire for roasting marshmallows or just keeping warm with a cup of hot cocoa. The LadyBug Cafe will be open for hot food and drinks throughout the festival.
New exhibits will also be on display during the festival, such as the Year of the Coyote display, furs and pelts, and a hands-on walk-through Fossil Exhibit.
Maple Hedge Farms will be offering horse drawn sleigh rides as well, weather depending.
Admission is $4, $2 for 12 and under.
