ACCESS FCU promotes four


CLINTON — Thomas L. Owens, president and CEO of ACCESS Federal Credit Union has announced the promotion of four employees: Judith S. Kowalczyk, Kimberly A. Salerno, Emily S. Coin and Nicholas L. Owens.

• Kowalczyk has been promoted to assistant vice president of human resources. In her position, she will be responsible for managing the staffing process for the credit union, administering the employee benefits program and ensuring the credit union’s compliance with federal and state employment regulations. She has been with the credit union for the past three years, and lives in Clinton with her two sons.

• Salerno, an 11-year employee of ACCESS, has been promoted to assistant vice president of consumer lending. She will have responsibility for the consumer loan department, including supervision of all collections activities. In addition, she will continue to oversee operations and manage and train employees of the Telephone Answer Center. She lives in Clinton with her husband, Vinnie.

• Coin, who has worked for the Credit Union for five years, has been promoted to vice president of risk management. She will continue to be responsible for all regulatory compliance and security for the entire credit union, as well as act as the liaison between the Credit Union and the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) for all NCUA examinations. She will work directly with the chief information officer to gain a complete understanding of the information technology operations for ACCESS. She lives in Barneveld.

• Owens, who has worked for the Credit Union for 14 years, has been promoted to vice president of branch and digital banking operations. In this position, he will assume direct supervision of all branch operations, including the research and implementation of new mortgage and digital banking products. As the senior mortgage administrator, he will continue to oversee the mortgage department and will be responsible for the training and supervision of our mortgage originators. He resides in Chittenango with his fiancé Allison.

ACCESS Federal Credit Union is a community credit union. If someone lives, works, worships or goes to school in Oneida county or the City of Oneida, they are eligible to join ACCESS Federal Credit Union. In addition, businesses and other legal entities located within Oneida county or the City of Oneida are eligible to join ACCESS, the announcement added.
