A total of 68 eighth-grade students were inducted into the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Strough Middle School. Honor society advisers Cam Tien and Jeff White, both Strough teachers, were on hand with Strough Principal, Tracy O’Rourke and Assistant Principals, Tonia Davis and Kimberly Mursch.

Five students participated in a candle-lighting ceremony, with candles symbolizing five categories. The Strough eighth-grade orchestra under the direction of Linda Baker provided entertainment.
