HERKIMER — Two Herkimer Central School District students had their artwork selected by a panel of judges as winners for the Fenimore Art Museum’s 2023 Young at Art! Regional Youth Art Contest.

Herkimer 12th grader Lyla Williams and sixth grader Gwendalyn McCutcheon will now have their art on display in an exhibit at the museum.

The exhibition, titled “Young at Art! Visions of Identity,” will be on view at the Fenimore Art Museum from May 27 to July 23.

The Young at Art! Regional Youth Art Contest Reception and Awards Ceremony will be June 10 with announcements of winners of cash prizes, special prizes and the grand prize.
