Engagement Announcement

Publishing of engagement announcements is a free service provided to couples (or parents of couples) who reside within the Daily Sentinel's circulation area.

Wedding and Engagement announcements are published on the Bridal page which runs on the first Monday of the month.

The Daily Sentinel cannot publish an announcement without street addresses for the local parents (or couple if parents are deceased). No street number is required. The ONLY exception to this is for those with immediate family members who are either police, corrections officers or work for the prison, in which case we will publish the town or city of residence only.

Parents of the Couple

If a parent is deceased, that parent can be named as "the late..." If parents are separated or divorced, please list the addresses for each. Step-parents may be named but should be identified as such.

Photo of Couple

Submit a vertical close-up photograph without filters for the best reproduction. Photos are published in the newspaper black and white and in color on the web. Photos for print must be at least 200dpi.
