‘Where the Crawdads Sing’ featured in Kirkland library book discussion

CLINTON — Kirkland Town Library, 55 1/2 College St., will hold a Monday Book Club discussion on “Where the Crawdads Sing,” by Delia Owens, at 1 p.m. March 9.

Copies of the book are available at the library.

New Extended Winter Hours

This winter, the library will be open on Saturdays until 4 p.m. and on Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.

Monday Movies

March 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 at 2 p.m.

Join patrons to watch a movie on the big screen. Popcorn will be served. Check the library’s website for movie title.

Pop Up Concert

Thursday, Feb. 27 at 3:30 p.m.

The group So Percussion will perform live at the library with support from Hamilton College Performing Arts.

Board of Trustees Meeting

Thursday, Feb. 27 at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 29 starting at 10:30 a.m.

Patrons will walk, run, jog, stroll or ski one-half of a kilometer (about 1/3 mile) from where the sidewalk ends at Clinton Cider Mill to where everything else begins at the Kirkland Town Library.

From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., patrons will enjoy free classes and activities for your mind and body.

Registration fee is $5 per person with a $10 maximum per family. Hats are available for $5 each (one size fits all). Registration forms are available at the KTL and can be printed from our website (www.kirklandtownlibrary.org).

Wigglers for ages 0-2, Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m.

Walkers for ages 2-3, Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.

Talkers for ages 3-5, Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.
