UTICA — Thea Bowman House of Utica will host its annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade Party from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 16 at the DeSales Center, 309 Genesee St.
Those who come out to see the parade may come warm up inside with hot food and drinks available for purchase, including homemade macaroni and cheese and chili from local restaurants, Karen and Burmese foods, hot dogs, baked goods, Irish soda bread and shamrock ice cream shakes. Volunteers will be on hand to offer St. Patrick’s Day themed arcade games and a photo booth. Free arts and crafts activities will be available for children. After the parade, dancers from the Butler-Sheehan Academy of Irish Dance and the Johnston School of Irish Dance will perform from noon to 1 p.m.
