Sitrin lands $3.2 million in state support

The Charles T. Sitrin Health Care Center in New Hartford is receiving $3.2 million through the Statewide Health Care Facility Transformation Program, state Sen. Joe Griffo, R-49th Dist. of Rome, and Assemblyman Brian Miller, R-101st Dist. of New Hartford, announced.

The money is from the Statewide Health Care Facility Transformation Program. The funding will go toward capital improvements to modernize the facility and upgrade technology, including a new electronic health record system to enhance operational efficiency. Griffo, the Senate deputy minority leader, and Miller issued a joint statement:

“The Charles T. Sitrin Health Care Center is a leading provider of health, wellness and rehabilitation services in the Mohawk Valley and beyond. The funding provided through the Statewide Health Care Facility Transformation Program will help to modernize the Sitrin facility and its technology while enhancing the center’s ability to meet the needs of the individuals that it serves.”
