NEW HARTFORD — While some of the biggest Black Friday deals are already available online, Sangertown Square will welcome the most popular shopping weekend of the year in a safe and memorable way, according to mall officials.
The mall will be closed for Thanksgiving but will reopen its doors at 7 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 27, and close at 10 p.m. On Saturday, the mall will be open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
On Black Friday, select stores will be opening earlier. Anchor store hours for Friday are:
Boscov’s: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.;
Dick’s Sporting Goods: 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.;
HomeGoods: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Macy’s: 5 a.m. to midnight;
Target: 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Sangertown Square is taking necessary steps to ensure the safety of guests and employees this holiday shopping season by following guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), New York State and Oneida County, mall officials said, adding that masks and social distancing will continue to be required to enter the property and guests are required to follow the center’s Healthy Shopper Guidelines.
These include: Stay home if you are sick or have COVID symptoms; wear a face mask; follow appropriate respiratory hygiene and cough etiquette; maintain social distancing; refrain from touching your nose, mouth and eyes; follow hand hygiene and cleaning and disinfection guidelines and use hand sanitizer stations located throughout the property; and do not touch items you don’t intent to buy.
