Library’s favorite ‘Burnt Toast’ podcast to be featured at farmers market

CLINTON — Kirkland Town Library, 55 1/2 College St., will feature a food podcast at Clinton Farmers Market at the Village Green.

Pop-Up Podcasts: Burnt Toast will be featured at noon Thursdays, Aug. 1, 8, 15 and 22.

Attendees are asked to join patrons in a lunchtime conversation about the library’s favorite food podcast, “Burnt Toast.”

Baby Sensory Play

Friday, Aug. 2 at 11 a.m.

Babies ages 5-24 months and their caregivers will learn and play together with sensory toys.

Monday Movies

Aug. 5, 19 and 26 at 2 p.m.

Watch a recent release on the library’s big screen. Popcorn will be served. For movie titles, check the website.

Zumba Chair Workout

Wednesdays, Aug. 7, 14 and 28 at 3 p.m.

Take Zumba fitness down a notch with this workout in a chair. The program is for people with low mobility and includes low impact moves, along with music. The class is taught by Helen Dick.

Amateur Summer Stock

Thursday, Aug. 8 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Join other rookie performers to read and act in a short play. No experience is necessary. Contact the library to sign up.

Wigglers for ages 0-2 on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m.

Movers & Shakers for ages 2-5 on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.

Farmer’s Market Story Time for all ages on Thursdays at 11 a.m. on the Village Green
