CLINTON — Kirkland Town Library, 55 1/2 College St., will host a Star Wars Droid Demo at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10.
Patrons are invited to come meet the new R2D2 and BB-8 droids at the library.
Participants will do a coding activity and a craft. Then, attendees will learn how to sign up for a turn to take the droids home.

Senior Exercise Classes
Join those age 65 and older at the library on Mondays and Thursdays from 9:15-10 a.m. from Jan. 14 through April 11 for a series of free video exercise classes.
Most exercises are performed in a chair. All equipment is provided. No experience is needed. Evaluate results with a final survey.
Space is limited, so area residents are encouraged to contact the library to sign up.
To qualify, participants must not be doing any kind of strength training. Walking, yoga and tai chi are allowed.

Happy Tails Reading Program
Thursday, Jan. 17 from 4-5:30 p.m.
Children in kindergarten through fifth grade who can read independently can take a turn reading to a trained therapy dog. Contact the library to sign up for a 15-minute shift.
Fairy Tale STEAM:
The Three Billy Goats Gruff
Friday, Jan. 18 at 10:30 a.m.
Preschool children and their caretakers will listen to a classic fairy tale and do a related STEAM activity.
