Library to hold annual jewelry sale
CLINTON — Kirkland Town Library, 55 1/2 College St., will hold its annual jewelry sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, during the Shopper Stroll event.
Outside the library, shoppers may choose from a variety of gently worn bracelets, charms, earrings, necklaces, pins, rings, watches and more. All proceeds benefit the Kirkland Town Library.
Shoppers are required to wear a mask, use hand sanitizer, and keep six feet of physical distance while at the sale. In case of inclement weather, the sale will be on Saturday, Dec. 5, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Also at the library:
Bike Repair Station Available
With the help of Friends of the Kirkland Town Library, KTL will have a brand new bike rack and repair station.
Ride your bike to the library and store it safely during your visit. Use the repair station to add air to your tires, fix the gears, adjust the seat, or whatever needs to be done. There are plenty of tools to use and a special rack that keeps the bike in place while you work.
Mini Meal at the Library
Help the library create a mini Thanksgiving feast. Pick up air-dry clay at the library, bring it home, and shape it into an item from the Thanksgiving table, such as food, cutlery and decor.
Gratitude Signs
Now that the election is over, the library is asking neighbors to move together as a community by focusing on what everyone is thankful for by transforming yard signs into displays of gratitude. Stop by the library to pick up a sign (if you need one), the materials needed to cover it, and instructions for how you can show what you are thankful for. If you have unwanted signs, drop them off at the library.

Binge Boxes
Pick up all you need for a movie night at home. Boxes contain three movies, popcorn, and some surprises and are available in 12 different themes for every movie-lover. Have an idea for a box? Email it to the library at clinton@midyork.org.
Get Fit at Home
If you’re looking for a low-impact workout for all ages, check out one of the Geri-Fit workouts on DVD.
They are the same workouts offered in person at the library last winter. Borrow weights and a band from the KTL and do your exercises in the comfort of your own home.
Country Pantry
The Library is a drop-off site for Country Pantry.
Non-perishable foods can be left in the box by the library’s main entrance. Monetary donations can be placed in the secure book drops.
