Library asks to consider other charities for book donations this winter

Posted

CLINTON — Kirkland Town Library, 55 1/2 College St., wants to inform patrons who regularly give donations of books toward the library’s annual book sale, that from Dec. 1 until spring, it will take a break from accepting books.

Those who would like to give toward the annual sale are asked to hold on to their donations until the spring. Or, they can be brought to the Better World Books collection box at the Mid York Library office on Lincoln Avenue in Utica.

Paperback books can be recycled. The library will make an announcement in the spring when donations resume.
