Epicurean Delight goes virtual with online auction

NEW HARTFORD — The Hospice & Palliative Care Development Council will hold its Epicurean Delight Auction online this year from Sept. 28 through Oct. 7.

“While we wish we could come together and taste the food from our favorite area restaurants, the safest plan is to stay home this year,” said Doreen Nicholls, Epicurean Delight co-chair.

“I invite everyone to join us and support the valuable hospice, palliative and bereavement services that are provided to our community by participating in this event.”

The online auction will include restaurant, jewelry, furniture, household and family packages. Items will be available beginning Sept. 28 for viewing at noon and the online auction will close on Oct. 7 at 7 p.m.

Visit www.hospicecareinc.org to learn more and register for the online auction.

New this year is the Restaurant Coupon Book featuring coupons from local eateries when you make a donation of $25 or more.

Also, $5 raffle tickets are being sold with the top prize being a $500 gift card and additional prizes valued at $100 and more.

To reserve a Restaurant Coupon Book or to purchase a raffle ticket, call Hospice & Palliative Care at 315-735-6487, ext. 1013 or stop by the office at 4277 Middle Settlement Road weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
