Westmoreland’s junior varsity softball squad falls to Dolgeville


The Westmoreland junior varsity softball team lost to Dolgeville, 11-4, on Friday.

Isabella West doubled for the Bulldogs and both Olivia Golden and Alivia Enos had a hit.

Westmoreland is 7-4 on the season.

Oriskany gets road win

The Oriskany modified softball team won, 22-13, against Remsen on the road.

Carmelle Cooper and Jordyn Carlo pitched for the Redskins and Ashley Burnop doubled.

Redskins storm back

The Oriskany modified baseball team came back from a 5-0 deficit by scoring five runs in the seventh inning to win, 9-6.

Nick Deriso drove in the go-ahead runs for the Redskins. Ryan Shackett had two hits and two RBIs and Eric Noga earned the win in relief.

Westmoreland goes to .500

In another modified baseball game, Westmoreland defeated Poland, 19-7, to even its record at 4-4.
