Verona student has role in operetta


A local student will be featured in the award-winning Crane Opera Ensemble at SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music’s production of the Gilbert and Sullivan operetta, “The Pirates of Penzance,” on Friday and Saturday, April 20 and 21.

Both performances will be presented at 7:30 p.m. in the Sara M. Snell Music Theater, according to an announcement by the college.

The cast and crew includes Christopher DeNova of Verona, who plays Samuel, the college’s announcement adds.
