Raymond Ketchum Jr., 70, of Blossvale, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse. He was born in Rome on June 29, 1947, the son of the late Raymond and Katheryn Pugh Ketchum. On October 4, 1969, he was united in marriage to Jean Croniser.
Ray retired from Camden Wire Co. after working there for several years.
He loved his Harley-Davidson Tri-Glide. Ray and Jean would take trips all over on his bike.
Surviving besides his loving wife of 48 years, Jean, are a son and daughter-in-law, Darrin and Connie Ketchum of Blossvale; four sisters, Patricia (Tud) Parry of Rome, Charlotte (Fred) Medina of Florida, Charlene (Tim) Pappas of Pennsylvannia and Melinda (Kevin McCanney) Douglas of Blossvale; four grandchildren, Dakota, Adriane, Amy and Katelynn; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Raymnond III; and a grandson, Darrin Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 7 p.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 State Rt. 13, Camden. Interment will take place in McConnellsville Cemetery in the spring. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home prior to the service from 4-7 p.m.
