Haydn’s ‘The Creation’ Sunday at Colgate

HAMILTON — The Colgate University Chorus and Guest Orchestra will present Haydn’s iconic oratorio, The Creation, under the baton of Dr. R. Ryan Endris, at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, April 15 at Colgate Memorial Chapel.

Audience members will hear the depiction of the world’s creation in the book of Genesis and Milton’s Paradise Lost through Haydn’s imaginative and compelling sounds.

The concert will feature Evelyn Johnson Zamudio, soprano; Gene Stenger, tenor; Jason Eck, bass-baritone; and Juan Carlos Zamudio, guest concertmaster. The performance will be sung in English.
