Casino receives Forbes Four-Star awards

VERONA — Turning Stone Resort Casino has again earned three Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star awards, according to an announcement by both Forbes and the Turning Stone.

Being honored in 2018 for the second consecutive year are the casino’s Wildflowers restaurant and Skana spa, and for the third consecutive year, The Lodge, an Adirondack style, all-suite hotel. The spa and restaurant are located inside the hotel.

Turning Stone says it is the only resort in the Northeast to have earned three Forbes Four-Star Awards and three AAA Four Diamond awards at one property, the Forbes announcement said.

Wildflowers recently unveiled a new menu of contemporary American cuisine. Skana is known for its soothing treatments and modern amenities.

The Lodge is known for its service and accommodations when it comes to pampering guests.

Turning Stone is owned by the Oneida Indian Nation.

“To have three of our venues named among the world’s top destinations by Forbes Travel Guide is an enormous honor and credit to the hard work and dedication of our employees that helped make this possible,” said Oneida Nation Representative and Nation Enterprises CEO Ray Halbritter.

In addition, the resort also features a trio of renown golf courses — Atunyote, Kaluhyat and Shenendoah.
