Camden coffee house hosts Elvis impersonator Saturday

CAMDEN — Elvis impersonator Eddie Foster will perform at the Trinity Community Coffee House, 98 Main St., at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17.

Foster came to Oneida County as a Fresh Air program participant, and his foster family later welcomed him into their home full-time after he lost his father.

He has appeared in Las Vegas, the Turning Stone Casino and Vernon Downs Casino, and had a three-year run on Star Search. He has been employed by International Wire Co. of Camden for more than 30 years and resides in Rome, where he serves as a scoutmaster and is an elder and youth counselor with the Church of the Latter Day Saints.

The McCarthy Family will perform at 7 p.m. on March 10.

The church is located next to the Post Office, at the intersection of Routes 69 and 13. Guests may enter through the front door of the church. A parking lot is available, between the church and Post Office, with a handicapped accessible entrance into the parish hall.

Trinity’s Community Coffee House performances are free to the public. A free will donation is collected. Complimentary refreshments are provided by the Trinity Ladies Guild.
