Black Knights blanked on the road by Baldwinsville


BALDWINSVILLE — The Rome Free Academy hockey team dropped to 0-4 after Tuesday night’s 5-0 road loss to Division I National foe Baldwinsville at the Lysander Ice Rink.

Ethan Siderine made 28 saves for the Black Knights, who are 0-2 in league play.

Rome has been outscored 17-3 on the season.

Scoring for Baldwinsville were Parker Schroeder, Isaiah Pompo, Ben Dwyer, Cameron Sweeney and Mark Monaco.

Baldwinsville goalie Josh Smith made seven saves in earning the win.

RFA looks for its first win on Friday night when the Black Knights host Franklin Academy at 7 in a non-league game at Kennedy Arena.
