Westmoreland boys breeze to modified basketball victory

The Westmoreland boys modified Green basketball team defeated Canastota, 54-16, on Friday night as Ethan Myers led the Bulldogs with eight points.

Matthew Doyle and Payton Livingston each added seven points for the 6-2 Bulldogs.

Oriskany boys win

In more boys modified basketball action, both of the Oriskany teams won their games against Morrisville-Eaton.

The Maroon team won 52-16 with Cripin Velarde scoring 10 points.

The White team ran its winning streak to five games with a 54-23 victory. Jason Reid led all scorers with 17 points.

Both Oriskany teams are 6-3.

Westmoreland earns victory

The Westmoreland Green and White girls modified basketball teams combined to defeat Canastota’s combined team, 30-12.

Kaylee Bertini scored a team-high 10 points for the Bulldogs.

Redskins victorious

In another girls modified basketball game, the Oriskany White team defeated Morrisville-Eaton, 46-15. Ashley Reid scored a game-high 16 points and Ashley Burnop scored 14 points for Oriskany.
