Vancouver signs and recalls Archibald from the Comets

UTICA — The Vancouver Canucks signed and recalled forward Darren Archibald from the Utica Comets on Wednesday.

Archibald has recorded 16 points, seven goals and nine assists, in 25 games with Utica this season.

During the 2016-17 season, Archibald led the Comets in goals with 23 and points with 47 and was the recipient of the Tom McVie Award as the Coach’s MVP and the Mohawk Valley Media Player of the Year Award.

In 365 career American Hockey League games, Archibald has collected 151 points, 77 goals and 74 assists and 435 penalty minutes.

In his 16 career NHL games, Archibald has recorded a goal and two assists.
