Trail Blazers snap Stallions’ Perfect Game League streak

SAUGERTIES — The Adirondack Trail Blazers snapped the Saugerties Stallions’ five-game winning streak Monday night in Saugerties with a 5-2 Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League victory.

David Marcano and Isiah Daubon tallied two hits apiece to lead the Trail Blazers.

Tim Carroll drove in a pair of runs and Daubon added a pair of stolen bases. John Polichetti hurled six innings to record the win. He allowed two runs (one earned), scattered nine hits, walked none and struck out six.

Gerry Siracusa pitched three innings in relief to earn the save. Siracusa yielded no runs, one hit, three walks and fanned six.

Adirondack, which is 13-18, hosts Watertown tonight at 7:05.
