Trail Blazers record PGCBL win

BOONVILLE — The Adirondack Trail Blazers picked up their second win of the season with a 7-4 Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League victory over Glens Falls in Boonville on Tuesday night.

The Trail Blazers hit three doubles, coming off of the bats of Isiah Daubon, Mike Caruso and Kyle LaPlante. Julio Mercano homered and drove in four runs on the game for Adirondack.

On the mound, Brett Lubreski picked up the win after tossing five innings, giving up four runs on seven hits, walking four and striking out three.

Connor Stapleton picked up the four-inning save, allowing three hits over the course of the four innings , walking one and striking out one.

The Trail Blazers improved to 2-8 on the season.

They travel to Watertown to take on the Rapids tonight at 7:05.
