Trail Blazers go down to third baseball loss in row

BOONVILLE — The Adirondack Trail Blazers suffered their third Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League loss in a row on Tuesday night after falling 12-7 to the Newark Pilots at home.

Robert Zurawski fueled the Adirondack offense by turning in a 2-for-4 day including a double and an RBI.

Hayden Rappoport added two RBIs for the Trail Blazers and John Michael Boswell picked up a RBI. Tyler Bruno tripled and drove in a run for Adirondack in the loss.

On the mound, Michael Delease took the loss for the Trail Blazers.

Delease’s outing lasted four innings, giving up 10 runs on 11 hits while walking two and striking out one.

The Trail Blazers drop to 10-20 on the season and will travel to Little Falls to take on the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs tonight at 7.
