Utica FC signs Bosnia native to deal
UTICA — Utica City FC has announced the signing of Slavisa Ubiparipovic for the upcoming season.
Ubiparipovic spent last season with the Syracuse Silver Knights, recording 23 goals and 16 assists in 21 games.
The veteran has spent his entire MASL career with the Silver Knights. In 136 career games, he has tallied 119 goals and 101 assists. He was also named Rookie of the Year for the 2011-12 season.
The 5-foot-11 midfielder-forward is a native of Bosnia. He played on the college level at Xavier University and Cleveland State University, where he was named first-team All-Horizon League and NCAA Division I All-Ohio first team.
