Join a human pink ribbon for breast cancer

UTICA — Breast cancer survivors and other community members are invited to help promote Breast Cancer Awareness Month by wearing dark pink clothes and creating a human pink ribbon for an aerial photo.

The gathering is planned for mid-day Oct. 5 at Murnane Field, the baseball park across from the Faxton Campus, on Burrstone Road at Sunset Avenue in Utica.

Participants are asked to arrive by noon. There is also a brief
ceremony in honor of breast cancer survivors planned.
