SpayGhetti Dinner to benefit R-CATS
The R-CATS Program’s eighth annual SpayGhetti Dinner is 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 21 at the Toccolana Club on East Dominick Street.
“We would like to invite people from the community who support our work managing the homeless cat population in Rome through the proven, effective Trap/Neuter/Vaccinate/Return process to join us at this important fund raiser and help us raise the money we need to continue our important work,” the group stated.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under. The meal includes ziti with meatballs, salad, bread and butter, coffee, water and dessert. In addition to a meal, the event also features raffles and a silent auction featuring items donated by local businesses and supporters.
Tickets can be obtained at Jervis Public Library during business hours or can be reserved by contacting the R-CATS Program at 315-337-3890 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Takeouts are available and there will be limited tickets available at the door.
Over the last eight years, the R-CATS Program has worked with people all over the City of Rome and helped hundreds of cats. “If we’re going to be able to continue to do so, we need the community’s support,” the group noted.
