The Rome Elks Lodge #96 will host Pancakes with Santa and Mrs. Claus on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Families are invited to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, write letters to Santa, and make reindeer feed to prepare for the big day.

Admission is $7, $5 for children ages 5-12. Children age 4 and under enter for free. Purchasing tickets in advance is encouraged as only a very limited number of tickets will be available at the door. Tickets are available by calling 315-336-3300 or 315-339-8011. The lodge is located at 126 W. Liberty St.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Elks National Foundation, which allows local lodges to apply for grant monies that are then invested in their respective communities. “The Rome Elks Lodge has applied for and received $8000 in grants over the past two years and have been invested in programs for public safety and to prevent hunger in our city,” organizers said.

A photographer will be at the Lodge and for an extra donation to Elks National Foundation, families are invited to have a portrait done by the beautiful fireplace in the club room.

The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks is a premier patriotic organization with long-standing commitment to service to veterans causes and to their Community. The National Elks Organization is currently celebrating 150 years of Elkdom.
