The city will host its annual Halloween on the Green on Friday, Oct. 26 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on the Griffo Green, City Hall, 198 N. Washington Street.

This year’s celebration is slated to be the largest yet, boasting over 20 trick or treat stations, an outdoor film screening, costume contests for kids and adults, and cider, donuts, and food trucks.

This eventgives families and individuals a safe and free option to celebrate the holiday, city
officials said.

“The City of Rome would like to extend a special ‘thank you’ to all of the community organizations and businesses who have volunteered their time for the tick or treat street,” said city Marketing and Special Events Coordinator Makenzi Enos. “This is an excellent example of the community working together to make a great event.”
